Miami Beach, Florida Aug 24, 2025 (Issuewire.com) - VMAY S.P. develops innovative autonomous dredging and water body cleaning systems. Its flagship product, Dredge, Baby, Dredge, is designed to restore beaches, lakes, and coastlines after hurricanes and natural disasters.
As a powerful hurricane threatens the coastline, an innovative mobile dredging system stands ready to restore damaged beaches in record time. Designed for rapid deployment and operation from the shore, this system can handle sand, gravel, clay, salvage (including metal debris and valuable objects), and other materials to bring beaches back to life after severe storms.
The Dredge, Baby, Dredge system is a breakthrough in coastal recovery technology. Unlike traditional dredging, which requires large vessels and extensive setup, this compact, mobile unit operates in shallow waters and can be deployed within hours. It is capable of grabbing and transporting material ashore or to a barge, making it versatile for post-disaster recovery and planned nourishment projects.
In addition to beach restoration, the system can perform maintenance dredging of rivers, lakes, marinas, and ports, as well as deliver water over long distances for environmental or industrial purposes. This flexibility makes it a cost-effective tool for municipalities, environmental agencies, and private contractors.
Our mission is to provide communities with a fast, efficient, and affordable way to recover from storms, said Victor May, creator of the Dredge, Baby, Dredge system. We want to give towns the ability to restore their beaches and waterways without waiting months for traditional dredging equipment to arrive.
Dredge, Baby, Dredge is a startup initiative focused on sustainable beach nourishment, post-storm recovery, and sediment management. The system is designed for easy transport in a 53-foot trailer and can be operated with minimal crew, reducing both costs and environmental impact.
